Born in Long Island, New York, she got her degree at the Juilliard and has been part of the “Young artist program” both of Opera Theatre in Saint Louis and at the Caramoor Music Festival; sha completaed her studies at the prestigeous Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia (where she also sang Erda in Das Rheingold).

She received a grant from the William Matheus Sullivan Foundation and has previously received the Curt Engelhorn Scholarship from the American Berlin Opera Foundation.

She sang many roles at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin: Die Zauberflöte (Dritte Dame), Elektra (Erste Magd), Ariadne auf Naxos (Dryade), Andrea Chenier (Contessa di Coigny), Marie Victoire (La Marquise de Langlade), Tiefland (Rosalia), Salome, Nabucco (Fenena), Luisa Miller (Federica).

She also sang: Un ballo in maschera (Ulrica) in Catania, Parma and Modena; Rigoletto (Maddalena) at the Chicago Lyric Opera, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Opera Theatre Saint Louis, Opera Delaware and Santafè Opera Festival; Das Rheingold (Erda/Flosshilde) in Leipzig and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin; Roussel’s Padmâvatî at the Spoleto Festival; Die Walküre (Grimgerde) at Teatro alla Scala, in Amsterdam, at the Staatsoper Unter den Liden in Berlin and at the Opéra de Paris; Der Ring des Nivelungen in Leipzig; Il Trovatore (Azucena) at Festival Verdi in Busseto; Cavalleria rusticana (Lola) at the Opéra de Paris; Leoncavallo’s La bohème (Musetta) at the Opera de Oviedo; Piazzolla’s Maria de Buenos Aires with Gotham Chamber Opera and in Bonn; Ariadne auf Naxos (Dryade) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich; Götterdämmerung (Erste Norn and Flosshilde) at the Opéra de Paris and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin; Cerevicki (Solokha) at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; Falstaff (Quickly) in Shanghai; Siegfried at the Leipzig Oper.

She actively performs also on the concert platform singing: Leonid Desyatnikov’s Russian Seasons with New York City Ballet; Handel’s Messiah with Bermuda Philharmonic; Verdi’s Messa da Requiem with the Orchestra of the Academy of Vocal Arts and at the Umbria Music Festival; a Gala concert at New Jersey Opera Theatre; Wesendonk Lieder in Palazzo Pisani with the Orchestra da Camera di Venezia; a Concert with Italia Arte Fest at the Rudolfinum in Prague.
